Good Thermal Paste
Good thermal paste. The only improvement I would recommend would be to include a small brush as that is what I've had to use in order to get it to spread properly, and from what I read in reviews, is what many people have resorted too using. Put on 3 places on one board and ran hot, put it on 3 places on another board same result so Not that good of paste, had to get other paste and when I used other paste device temp went down about 20 c as compared to this paste! Good. But messy
After reading several reviews about this product I decided to try it. Mainly because of the quantity given. Although I didn't want something that wasn't going to perform well either. This product had good numbers across the board in comparison tests. Like many others I found it difficult to work with. It has the texture and characteristics of Anti-seize. The included spreader is not recommended because it allows for no control when applying compound. Ultimately the best method I discovered was to use a small fine make-up brush. Good cheap thermal paste
This paste definitely works adequately for normal CPU installation but I'd look for more expensive paste for overclocking. Its a great value if you are changing CPUs all the time and go through a lot of compound- a good inexpensive choice. I use it on test bench setup where I am always applying and whipping off past and it performs as it should. Great for its price!
I mean its a tub of thermal paste for relatively cheap so you can't expect the best quality. But this genuinely surprised me! I've had this tub since about 2023 and it's been my number one thermal solution! Hell I even cooled a SandyBridge I5 with this and it had great temps! It performs okay, but I've seen a lot better, but as long as you're just using a CPU with a low to medium TDP you'll be fine. It's also a bit messy and gets everywhere. Great value for really good thermal paste!
So far this seems to be really good paste. It's easy to apply and spreads well to form a thin coat that doesn't stick or dry out. It's easy to clean up with just a paper towel and hasn't gotten crusty or chunky at all. I've been testing a lot of processors and this paste has made the task much easier even on heat sinks with chip exposed thermal pipes. My Dell Inspiron 5675 and 5676 were making a high noise, everytime I've used the desktop to edit any pitures or movies. I did my research and found out that Dell website sais some of this was due because of CPU needed to be changed or the fan had to be changed. I've bought the 10g Tub Silver Thermal Paste High Performance Heatsing Compound CPU and took off the CPU from my desktops and cleaned them really good and put the new paste............ OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The noise that my desktops were making, dissapered!!!!!!!!!!! The Paste did the trick. Apparently, it just needed to put new CPU paste!!!!!! I've run SPEED FAN TEST app in my desktops and now it holds Temps lower than before!!!!!!!! This Product does work. I will recommend it 200%!!!!!!!!!!!!
