Don't be Deceived
Don't be deceived into thinking this is something that it's not. This guitar is essentially a nice neck on a cigarbox, and it sounds like it. Having said that, it's great fun. I bought it to take on my motorcycle trips. It's perfect for that application and it comes with a fairly decent quality case as well. The neck has a "real guitar" feel and the action is true. Because most of the weight is in the neck and head stock, and as a result of there being essentially no body weight, I was always wrestling to keep the guitar level. However, I developed a method of running the strap through my belt and, Voila, problem solved. Lightweight and easy to transport
I bought this as a gift for my son, and he loved it. It is much lighter and easier to take places than his full-sized guitar. The sound is different, but it was purchased knowing that the size will change the sound. Camping guitar
I bought this specifically as an inexpensive guitar to take camping. The small size, adjustable truss rod, and case were all selling points. The Rover played well right out of the box. The action was a little high, so I removed the bridge saddle and sanded it down a bit. Plays much better. It does lack in bass, as other reviews have stated, but that is to expected with the tiny body size. Overall, it sounds pretty good, and it came setup pretty well from the factory.
