Product Information

Battle robots and warriors and defend your kingdom in 'Sparkster'. An action-adventure game released by Konami for SNES in 1994, 'Sparkster' is a scrolling shooter featuring the eponymous main character. This single-player game is only available for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and features a distinctive soundtrack that won the award for Best Sound Effects of 1994 by Electronic Gaming Monthly. The main character of Sparkster is an opossum knight armed with a rocket pack and sword firing energy bolts. Sparkster fights to protect his kingdom against an army of robots and yellow wolves. Your goal is to defeat the rival Rocket Knight Axel Gear and save the planet from destruction.

    Underrated Super Nintendo game!

    Great spin-off game from the Rocket Knight series. This game is a little more like the first game, then the sequel on Genesis (also called Sparkster) was, so the gameplay is definitely more familiar and easy to get into. Highly recommend this game, but don't pay too much for it.

    Great game! Definitely a must have!

    Absolutely great! Challenging SNES game that will keep you hooked! Seems like it should be a Sega Genesis game, but is great on the SNES platform! It feels like Konamis version of Sonic or Mario! I love this game!
