Solved my Problem !
I have Verizon DSL WiFi and the D- Link router Verizon set me up with was very problematic. I used to lose my WiFi signal and would have to re boot ( disc from power and re plus in ) as many as 4 times in one day. I bought this Actiontec GT774WNV used on EBay and so far ( 3 weeks) I haven’t lost WiFi service at all ! 🤞🏻 Also my signal strength for my Ring camera went from poor / very poor 63 - 65 RSSI to ok at 69- 71 RSSI. Actiontec GT784WNV Wireless N Router
This is a great Modem/Router when using Verizon, they sent me a dlink with Verizon firmware on it and it was junk it dropped signal every single day and it was very aggravating to use. I imagine if you follow the steps and put dlink firmware back on it the dlink would be as good, but in doing that you loose any warranty with verizon. I am going to put dlink firmware back on it anyway that way when this actiontec goes out I will have a good modem/router to use again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Reliable and good range.
I have had one of these 4 running for 4 years and it is still going strong. It has decent range, I have weak spots at the other end of the house, but no drops in signal. Easy to configure. Big improvement over D-Link

Great modem/wireless router for Verizon DSL

Easy install, works flawlessly.
If you are a Verizon DSL subscriber, find out if this will be provided as a free upgrade, and if it is, grab it. Gone are the daily modem/router resets, the dropped wi-fi signals, and slow internet (although it still slows down during heavy traffic periods) that plagued our old D-Link and Westell modem/routers. I bought this used for a replacement on the D-Link I bought directly from Verizon. The D-Link just kept cutting out and at first I thought it was just bad internet because of where I lived but after hooking up the Actiontec my internet reliability is so much better. Great router
This router works much better than the other ones I have had from Verizon. It does not have external antennas but the wireless signal is almost as good as my old one that had 3 antennas.
