Powerful adhesive for ABS. Thorough cleaning of substrate is essential. Easy to apply with care. Wore nitrile gloves to avoid glueing my fingers to the work. The two surfaces to be stuck need to be a very close physical fit. not miracle
before buying this glue I read many reviews and this one was recommended to fix broken plastic toys as usually super glue doesn't work. I used it as described and expected miracle which did not happened. I don't know whether I missed the step when gluing parts together and leaving them 24 hours untouched. however, when used again the broken part broke again. maybe this glue is not for every plastic. This stuff does the business
Most glues say that they'll stick all sorts of things to all sorts of other things, but if they include plastic there's usually some small print to say "not all plastic", which translates to "not much plastic". I had what I presume are two different plastics to weld on the head of a Dyson vacuum cleaner. The fact that it's two stage makes it easier to use than it sounds and less chance of super gluing one's self. As I have repaired the hose as it enters a swivel head there is a lot of movement and the Loctite is holding it superbly with absolutely no problems and it has saved me £70+ on a replacement part. i wanted to glue hdpe to the keel of my Ocean Kayak which is made HDPE. I followed the exact instructions.It held until it was immersed in seawater by which time(2 days later) it lost its adhesion and was of no use.Its supposed to be waterproof. Didn't work for my application
Trying to stick magnets to HDPE plastic (the really slippery plastic they use for bushings). Read that this worked but despite the most careful prep it didn't. 3M adhesive pads did. Best glue I’ve bought so far
My hobby sometimes needs plastic glue but pretty much all of the superglues I’ve tried with the exception of this just wouldn’t stick properly. Effective at glueing hard-to-glue plastics.

I couldn't see any difference in performance from normal cyanoacrylates. The activator didn't work for me on a polymer garden trug, and I had to drill small holes and sew with a strimmer line to fix it.That worked fine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
