Protect my ipad
I like the zag defender case. It is of good quality and allows for the tablet to be removed and be stand alone. The backlit key board is a nice feature in low light situations. The only draw back i saw with it was the volume location on the tablet protection area does not line up real well. This is not an issue when using the key board since there are up and down buttons on the key board to control the volume. In a stand alone situation without the key board the volume control with the case on might be hard to accomplish.

A great product, poorly executed.
This product is excellent for about a year, then the spring that holds the iPad in position breaks, and I have to buy another one. Unfortunately I have not found a comparable design, so I replace it knowing that it will have a limited lifespan. The latest one I ordered does not seem to connect through Bluetooth so the keypad is of no value,. Grrrrrrrr.

Turns my Ipad into a mini-laptop!
Awsome to have a keyboard that integrates with my iPad as though it was originally built that way. I put information into my iPad and the keyboard is a must for me. This keypad turns my iPad into a mini-laptop. It is so convenient and I love to be able to take notes and add information with the keyboard! I can "set up shop" anywhere now!

This fits the iPad perfectly, is secure, the Bluetooth works perfectly, and the keys are snug and tight, giving a good feel. The typing experience is so much better than the on-screen touch typing of the iPad and the extra keys give me something which the iPad never had. I am very pleased with this folio and recommend it to others.

Top heavy, imbalanced
With the IPad installed in the case the keyboard will not stay flat on the desk. I have to place a book or something behind the iPad to support it or the iPad falls back and the front of the keyboard flips up off the desk. Very annoying, I would return it, but not worth the aggravation. It was an open box, I suspect someone else returned it.

Zagg Folios are Excellent
Amazing battery life (8 months no need to charge). Keyboard is quiet and has a good feel. I use my iPad for business where I take frequent notes during meetings. The folio is light and durable and a great value for the price.
