Close focus- not macro
I do not feel that this is a true macro lens. Yes, it will focus fairly close, but not incredibly so. But image quality is outstanding and the lens is light. Seems to be sturdy. Worth the money.

There is no need to correct the lens!
Optimized for accurate color reproduction. I use this for photographing watercolor and gouache paintings as well as sculptures and the details are incredible. There is no need to correct the lens!
