PIECE OF MIND PRODUCT
I live on a small farm which has paralistic ticks and this product has worked very well for some year's now. I do check my dog's and have found 2 to 3 ticks on dog's over the year's of using this product but early no swelling no effect . Happy with product.
My dog has had ongoing issues with worms, which I've treated with worming tablets. Can't judge the NexGard product honestly, as I've only administered one dose. Since I've given it though, it appears the worm issue has been cleared up. I got this product thinking it was 6 months of doses (as in the pepits, which is one month each) Because it's a chew it goes on the dog's weight. In actual fact due to my dog's weight, it's only 3 months as I have to give him 2 a month. The larger the dog, the more chews per month.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Protection and Peace of mind!
Our 2 rescued Dachshunds love NexGard Spectra Chews for their taste. We love them because they give our fur children 100% protection from 2 of the major killers of dogs, Heart Worm and Paralysis Ticks while also eliminating the nuisance of fleas and intestinal worms. They are not cheap but this level of protection and peace of mind has to be good value. Get some.

A Tick/Flea/Heartworm treatment is a necessity to protect you dog if you live in SthEast Queensland. Paralysis ticks are particularly dangerous and will kill your dog within a week if they're not prevented/treated. NexGuard Spectra is an effective preventative and my dog (Greyhound; usually cautious about what she will eat) willingly takes it so it must taste OK. We live in a high tick infested area. I have used Nexguard flea & tick treatment for several years and my dog has not had a single tick or flea in all of that time, even though we humans have often had tick bites.
