Great Product, as long as you don’t leave it uncharged for a while!
Having never bought or used an I pad pencil before, I wasn’t sure what to expect and had a few questions answered upon delivery. Do I need anything else to use this pencil? No additional accessories needed as it plugs into your I pad charge port and charges really quickly, and can be used after minutes of charge. I do however worry about catching and breaking said pencil/charge port whilst it’s plugged in, but caution is the key word there. You do have to use apps designed for use with this pencil, it won’t just write on any app, and obviously your I pad needs to be compatible, I have the I pad pro and it works like a dream. Doesn’t need a lot of charge to use for a while, and it is really smooth and pleasant to write/draw/paint or colour with. I bought this specifically to use with a photo editing app but have also downloaded colouring and drawing apps which were free but with limited functions. Over all I’d say this is a great product although I’ve not yet used it a huge amount...Updated, sadly after a while of not using the pencil, when I went to charge it up it appears to now be unable to charge at all. I have searched apples forums and it does appear to be a fault with them. With that in mind, I’d only buy one with the intention of keeping it charged up. Top quality product as you’d expect from Apple
Really impressed with the Apple Pencil. I’ve tried a couple of other stylus type pens but they aren’t a patch on this. It’s well designed, feels good in your hand, well balanced and well made. Well i finally bought this product and i have to say its outstanding in so many ways, so ppl may think its expensive but hey its that saying you get what you pay for, so basically Ive used the adonit stylist pen and it worked well untill i put a tempered glass screen protector on my ipad pro then it became very laggy so i took the plunge and splashed out on this brilliant product and it truly really is, im using it for editing in Affinty Photo, Enlight Quickshot and Procreate and it works flawlessly you can literally edit minute pixels at incredible detail its just mouth watering. obviously its the ipad pro’s ability to process the information it receives from the pencil through its processor via bluetooth but all in all its just a fantastic, incredible and outstanding product, build Quality is what you would expect from an Apple product the only negatives I would say is the finish texture is very slippy when you’ve been using it for hours but that can be easily corrected with a silicon cover which you can buy from eBay for peanuts and it would’ve been good if there was a way of seeing what the battery level is as I haven’t as yet found a way I believe there is a widget on iPad Pro but I haven’t been able to find it for the battery level but this is a very small disappointment basically if you’re using it on a daily basis just keep it charged after every use I would say you get the same amount of time out of the pencil as you do in the battery life of your iPad pro which is usually around 6 to 8 hours so it’s only a minor complaint if I could rate this product out of 100 I would literally give it 100. if your thinking about buying this pencil like I did for months and months then stop scratching your head bite the bullet and go and get yourself one if you’re truly into your photo editing apps or digital design and you have an iPad Pro 1st generation this truly complements it 100% you Will not be disappointed, enjoy

The only concern is with the way it is powered and that you need to think about how to best store. It is very easy to misplace as it does not attach to the ipad. Battery life seems good so far but to charge you need a special lighting cable adapter (Female to female) This can get lost as it's small and not attached to anything.
