Wild Fun Speaker!
Great sound. Great quality. Heavy, tough, rugged, loud speaker that lights up. Many features that requires frequent interaction, but very cool. You are not going to shake walls, but you will enjoy it. The battery is incredible. I used it for a total of 12 hrs through 2 days while testing features and blasting music, and as a speaker bar for my TV. (Btw, I didn't sense any lag in the bluetooth connection.) And I charged up 2 devices. It used about 30% battery. Charged up quickly. I'm taking it to work for the long real test to see how far I can go on a tank. Buy one. Have fun with it. Refurbished item not for me
This is the second Sony SRSXP 43 Bluetooth speaker I’ve ever owned I believe there’s something wrong with the one that I bought on eBay that was refurbished the bass output isn’t pushing them right amount of base sound that it should considering I’ve already owned one before and I know the levels of what it should sound like not sure what the issue is at this time still not sure if I should return it or have it fixed Besides that I love this speaker it has a long lasting battery and considering it has its own Sony app that allows you to control the light pattern and colors to the music that you Choose to play it is by far one of the best Sony Bluetooth waterproof speakers I’ve ever used that’s why I bought the second one and I also plan on buying one more XP 43 and then I’m going to buy an XB 33 and I’m gonna use all three of my speakers for my surroundsound Movie theater projection box with Fire Stick Besides being unhappy with my last purchase due to the bass not pumping as loud as it should all in all these are great speakers I would advise anyone to buy one maybe not a refurbished one but you can find them cheap enough on eBay brand new in the box that’ll be my next purchase

SONY SRS-XB43 EXTRA BASS
The sony srs-xb43 is not a bad buy for the price. The sound quality is very good, if you download the sony speaker app. You can add a better sounds, like adjusting the equalizer to your liking. The extra bass feature is a A+. The body style is very impressive, like the front frame covering the lighted speakers 🔊 is very hard (which is a good thing). This keeps the speakers protected. The water resistant is still my favorite thing about this sony srs-xb43. The only thing that is not to my liking is that the system is heavy (around 15 pounds). Highly impressed
Being an amateur level audiophile, I've been disappointed by pretty much every Blutooth speaker I've purchased, which numbers well over 10, a couple north of $200. After reading reviews of this Sony, some suggested overpowering bass, less than accurate mids and highs. With the Sony App, the EQ option let's one adjust the levels as you please, and I found the tone and power quite pleasing. Yes, it's not a Sonos, but it packs a punch, and at the refurbished price at around $100, It's tough to beat the options, power, and clarity at that price point. The light show wasn't something I was looking for, but fun and programmable with the Fiestable app. Sturdy and well built, I can't think of any real negatives. Fix the group issue no big upgrade from the last model
The group speaker setting does not work with the earlier generation speakers, So I have my two old speakers 41s that I cannot group with my new SRS 43. Almost perfect for me.
Almost perfect. Although the bass is quite nice, the mid to high ranges are a bit scratchy for my taste and for that reason I can't playback any of my classical music on this speaker. But for other music it is just fine. Although this is supposed to be a boombox, I find the bass is not that intense. And that's just fine with me because I like to play my music quite loud and a booming bass would bother family members in the other rooms and also the neighbors. So in that respect it's okay that it's subdued. And also I wish the controls on top would light up so I can see them since I have this speaker situated in a shelf cabinet.
