Great beard trimmer. Poor shaver.
I've been using The Braun Series 3 Shave & Style 3-in-1 Shaver - 300BT for a couple of months now. It's great as a beard trimmer, but as a shaver it simply doesn't do the job. The shave is incomplete and I always end up going over it with a disposable razor. They say that it takes time for the skin to adjust to an electric shaver, so possibly I need more time. I'll persevere and perhaps edit this review, but my feeling is that it's not going to improve. NOTE: Shaving was with a variety of growth, from a day or two's growth, up to a weeks worth. But even on a daily basis, the shaver wasn't up to spec. With beard trimming, a fully charged battery makes all the difference between ease and extra effort.
