With these shooting accessories, you can be ready to make the shot you need in a range of situations. The Vortex Razor HD Gen II Rifle Scope 1-6x24 mm is built like a tank and made to last. The one piece tube is constructed from a 30 mm aircraft grade aluminum alloy, making it practically indestructible. At a weight of just over 48 ounces, it can be as solid a scope as you can find. The Vortex Razor works best for tactical purposes at short to medium range. It can maximize speed and precision in tactical situations and makes sure your shots are dead on. The Vortex Razor HD Gen II Rifle Scope can be a great solution for short to medium range tactical applications. To ensure extended travel, the zero resettable adjustments offer 50 MOA of adjustment in a single turn. The controls of these riflescopes are designed with a side parallax knob that also contains a locking illumination control system for the reticle. The turret adjustments, called L-Tec Turrets, are non spring loaded accessories with an integrated locking mechanism. They are pull up to adjust and push down to lock and can provide fast, accurate, elevation and windage adjustments that are easy to read. The L-Tec Turrets Integrated locking mechanism can prevent accidental adjustments. It features capped windage and elevation adjustments for smooth riflescope performance. Vortek uses steel to make its adjustments particularly strong. The ArmorTek grayish tan matte scratch resistant coating can minimize glare on your gear and help to hide the shooter's location. The riflescope reticle is etched into the center of a three layer glass for stability and dependability. The Vortex Razor Gen II 1-6x24mm has a First Focal Plane reticle scale that can ensure that the reticle stays in proportion to the zoomed sight picture. The reticle is illuminated, which can ensure precision in twilight conditions and sets and locks on the last power setting used. The HD stands for High Density lens glass, extra low diffusion glass that maximizes resolution, color, and clarity. Vector also uses XRPlus, a multi coating on the lenses for the utmost in light transmission for these optics. This can extend the hours of usable daylight. Optically, it can deliver a high level of precision, resolution, color accuracy, light transmission, and edge to edge sharpness. Using the APO system, the optically index matched objective lens can maintain sharpness, brightness, and correct color across the visual field. The external lenses on the riflescope are protected for scratches and contaminants like oil with an ultra hard coating called AmorTek. The eye box on the Vortex is more tolerant of changes in head position and provides generous eye relief. Thanks to the ultra forgiving eye box, you can get a heads up display like sight picture. This allows for a both eyes open shooting style with fast target acquisition and dual eye monitoring of the target area. Compared to most scopes, the Razor can have a bigger field of view, higher resolution, enhanced contrast, and lower chromatic deviation. At 1x, the field of view at 100 yards is 115.2 feet. At 6x, the fov at 100 yards is 20.5 feet. The control for the illuminated reticle has a push down to lock system, which can prevent any unintentional startup and can thereby save battery power on your scopes.Product Identifiers

Great optic
Once you pick up this scope you know it is as tough as nails. Great clarity, contrast and forgiving eye box that is easy to get behind at 18x. Optical quality is on par with my US Optics and March scope (almost) Turrets take some getting used to. Very crisp and audible clicks but they are stiff. Little more effort to dial in a dope change compared to my Marcj scope. If weight is a concern, this isn't the scope you want but speaks to its solid construction. Over hyped, over priced /update//10/11/17
Wow am I surprised at how mediocre this scope is. On 1x it's like looking through a fish bowl with distortion all around the perimeter. The zoom ring is so stiff it cannot be adjusted from a shooting position. Definitely will need an extension lever to operate. Yes the glass is clear but it is not clear enough to put this optic in the +$1000 range .no way no how. This is about $400 of clarity to put it in perspective. The illuminated dot knob is hard to rotate also and the knob is way too large to speed through the 22 presets, yes 22 because there is an off position between each brightness of 1-11. if you are used to an aim point knob and adjustment you are going to be very disappointed. Imagine a 4" wheel on a basic combination lock, that's a lot of turning to get one revolution, same applies here. The dot is daylight or "aimpoint" bright, and is the highlight of this scope,but it is distorted at higher settings and transfers some of the light to the cross hairs unevenly which is extremely distracting. The scope definitely built like a tank I'll give it that. In my opinion the clarity of the glass and some of its other let downs puts this optic in the $400 range MAX, I am by no means a glass snob but this thing is definitely not what is hyped up to be. Oh, and a scope in this price range should come with a dust cap over the lenses for shipping. I really regret this purchase. Update 4/11/17 After zeroing and putting some rounds through (mounted to a 20" HBAR .556). This optic gets one star. All these 5 star raving reviews have got to be fake. Almost need a pipe wrench to manipulate the zoom knob. This is one big polished bronze turd. Side by side comparison, a nikon prostaff is a lot clearer than the razor. Yup, $100 rim fire scope has better clarity. I removed the vortex and ordered a leupold. Do yourself a favor and physically look through the vortex at a local dealer before you buy.
