Exceeds Expectations
So, like you, I wanted a Trijicon ACOG with an RMR... but I didn't want to spent $2000... All of your suspicions about this are probably wrong; it does not appear to be cheaply made; the body is cast aluminum, the glass is clear the red dot on the RMR is bright... I am not disappointed in any way. And I am usually disappointed.

Trijicon ACOG Style Red Fiber Optics
Keep in mind it states Trjicon ACOG style versus Trijicon ACOG. (period) It's not your $1500 ACOG, but for the money it holds its' own very well. Focus is crisp and clear, and the Reflex sight is good. The "backup" sight is rudimentary at best, but then you aren't shelling out $1500 either.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS USER. TERRIBLE PRODUCT.
The reticle was broken and off-target by a margin of almost 30-40 degrees. It would miss by 10 feet and 20 yards. Absolute piece of garbage and nothing was done to compensate how truly awful this product was. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration and STAY AWAY FROM THIS USER. TERRIBLE PRODUCT.
