Product Information

With its large frame and joystick in place of the direction pad, the Nintendo Advantage video game controller is like having an arcade stick for your Nintendo NES. In addition to the larger A and B controls, this controller features a turbo function for each button. By using the knobs above the turbo buttons, you can adjust how fast you want the turbo functionality to be. If you want to slow things down instead, just hit the Slow button to rapidly decrease the speed of gameplay. Thanks to the player toggle switch, you can use one controller to act as two players. The NES advantage also features Start and Select buttons, giving it all the functionality of your standard NES controller. The device uses wired connectivity.

    sturdy for a arcade style game controler

    i bought the nes advance cause i remember it being such a great arcade style game controller back in the days and with its adjustable turbo and ability to 2 player turn base game just by switching it to player 2 remove the need to have 2 of these taking all the place on a desk or table when i receive it it just needed a little bit of of a cleaning but other then that the nes advantage was functioning as it suppose to

    Going on 30 years old, and still works like its new!

    Where to begin? I can remember being a child and having to go to the "cool kids" house to use this thing. Back in the late 80's. If you had this. You were DEFINITELY considered COOL! :) lol Now that I'm in my mid 30's, and independent. Im finally able to buy one of my own. (Now I'm the "cool Kid...err. Adult! Cool adult! 😇😁😎 ) For going on 30 years old, these things are incredibly WELL BUILT. The one I received does have some yellowing on it from that RETARDED, fire retardant chemical - Bromine ( Who ever the dumba55 is that decided to put that chemical into the ABS plastic for these old devices... SHOULD BE SHOT!!! ) But, aside from some discoloration, it works extremely well! These things were built like a Tank, and are really durable. My only complaint is, that they should have made replacement components for these. Because if yours breaks, You'll have to buy an entirely new-Used one. I Hope this helps someone out there, looking to buy one of these. It's a nice addition to ANY gamers collection.

    The NES advantage

    This is a great solid controller. I love the fact that it makes you feel like you're playing a arcade game back from the 80s in your own home. The best part about it is the turbo buttons which allows you to cheat in a way. This is a great piece for anybody that is looking to complete a collection of original Nintendo NES equipment . It's simply just a blast from the past.

    Awesome with 4-player!

    I bought this specifically for games like Skyhawk and 1943. Many other games are great with it as well. Some of my buddies and I hooked up four advantage controllers with a multiplayer tap, (Yes it's possible) and we played some Ivan "Iron Man" Off-Road and super spike V ball. Some of the most fun I've had with video games in a long time!

    Using the standard NES controllers hurts...

    Using the standard NES controllers hurts my wrist after a while. So, I purchased this controller so I can play NES games as long as I want! The turbo options help in Shooters like Jackal, Star Soldier, and Cobra Command. It's made of steel (except for the buttons naturally). It's a heavy controller that will last.
