    The Nicest Hitchhiker’s Collection, but incomplete

    I grew up with this edition — carried it around like a bible (which it indeed resembles) — and, when Mostly Harmless was written, it sat next to that last (somewhat depressing, but still fun) Hitchhiker’s book. Buy (and read) The More Than Complete Hitchhiker’s Guide, and then get Mostly Harmless too.
