Hard to believe!
I'm really shocked at the value for the dollar this product brings. I was really skeptical about something this cheap from China being able to perform decently. Not only does the turntable work well but the software works great as well. I was planning to use my audio editing software (Goldwave) to do the initial capture but the EZ Vinyl/Tape Converter software actually does a better job at initial capture/digitization and is so much easier to use. Of course, it doesn't allow one to edit the ID3 tags or edit for pops/clicks, etc. but it's great for a non-techie and it saves me time because it automatically separates the tracks on an album so I don't have to start and stop for each song. I'm very pleased considering the low, low cost! :)

This Is Not as good or as user friendly as the first turntable I purchased from ION. So disappointed.
Cannot figure how to get the software to clear up the sound so it comes through clearly on the speakers. YES - I went through the steps, but it was still very garbled. Though the software seems to download easily onto my desktop PC, and seemed to download okay, there were too many steps in splitting up the tracks and then I couldn't find the song right away after the download. So this model does not transfer the music as easy as the original ION Turntable I had previously purchased. With that one, all I did was download the software and everything worked perfectly - this one does not. All of this is TOTALLY the product.

Overall it's a great looking, nice sounding, easy to use product. I'd recommend it to anyone!
It is very easy to hook and install the Audacity software on the computer. Having RCA cables on the back makes it easy to hook it to your stereo reciever. The USB part of it works great! I've already recorded two of my favorite LPs into my computer and have used the Audacity program to clean up and tailor the sound. It is a lot of fun! I'm quite satisfied with the results!

Best for those on a budget.
Had this model for years. Sound was more than worth what I paid for. When it broke, I bought the newer model. It looked better and had built in speakers, but when hooked up to my stereo it sounded horrible. I returned it and went to ebay to look for this one again. I'm picky with sound, but I don't have the money to buy the turntable I really want. This one will do

Better than you might think!
Well I have fooled around with budget turntables for a couple years. And this one is all cheap plastic. Having said that it sounds very good! Comes with a magnetic cartridge and is plug and play with nothing to set up. Tracks at 2 1/2 grams which is fine for this cartridge. If you are on a tight budget this is a good one!
