    Broken upon arrival, and absolutely filthy

    I had ordered this because the old shifter bezel in my XJ had cracked where the light bulb inserts, and wasn’t lighting as bright as it should have been. I ordered this as a replacement. The bezel in the picture was clean, and seemed like it was in really good shape. I got it about a week later, and I was extremely disappointed. The entire bezel was covered in dirt and grime, and the plastic part where the light inserts was completely broken in the box (which I will give the benefit of the doubt and say that it was damaged in shipping). Safe to say I feel pretty disappointed with this. I know it was supposed to be a used shifter bezel but I wasn’t expecting it to look like it had just been unearthed after 15 years of sitting underground.

    Exactly what I needed

    The piece is exactly what I needed since my old bezel had broke. My Jeep is a 1992, but I had converted the whole center console piece to a 97-01 piece. If you are like me and did the same thing, the ‘92 stock light for transfer case shifter won’t fit in the hole(it’s too big) unless you have an led light instead of the stock peanut bulb. LED’s have a circular base that it a perfect fit but the peanut bulbs don’t have that. This is a very specific case but I still wanted to mention that. If your Jeep is 97-01 then the light bulb will fit perfectly in the bezel’s hole.
