Everything great except battery. I'll write below.
Great machine! Core i7, 16 gb ram, 256 ssd - everything as specified. Little scratches on laptop - as specified as well. Pros. - It's a mac. The one I've dreamed for years. Now it's happened, I've bought it. Great OS, it never compares to PC. - Powerful machine, I can do everything I need (I'm musician, sound engineer). Works fast and stable. - Great choice for video editing. Retina display and 4k videos look wonderful. Cons. - Battery. OS X tells me to service battery (!), but it works. Ideally it must work up to 8 hours. But I can work up to 4-5 hours with only browser, skype opened. And with musical apps opened - up to 2 hours. So battery is working, but i suppose i'll have to change it in couple of mounts. So be ready for this. - Be ready to pay customs rate in your country when you receiving this laptop. In Ukraine I've paid about $ 300 at my postal office. - There are scratches on the body. Not so big, I can notice them just when I look just for them. I have had several of these models and they have all had a touchpad problem. I used this for about a 8 months when the touch pad started acting wonky. Apple wants $600 plus to fix, local shops will probably charge 200 for the part and labor. Make sure you get a warranty with every Apple product you purchase it will pay for itself. Other than that fantastic screen, battery life is decent, Graphics performance is actually good for the year and size is just perfect. It is pretty light, speakers are ok BUT not in the same class as the newer MacBooks. Best Model Out There
The whole laptop itself is beautiful, not too heavy to travel with, comes with all of the necessary port for USB and HDMI even a SD card reader if you have a camera. It’s a way better value that is update able with the newest IOS software so it’s basically like having the newest version of the MacBook Pro without the hefty price tag. Seamless interface and completely customizable. Will run for years, literally, and in the off chance some part of it goes bad easily replaceable. In with the old, out with the new.
I was very hesitant ordering my MacBook Pro that I've been saving up for (Touch Bar) online on eBay. After researching and researching, I found out the newest MacBook Pro wasn't a good choice since the newest edition has a soldered in SSD, which means you can't upgrade storage if you need more later down the road. I was very persevered saving up for the newest model, I knew what I wanted. But in the end, I didn't. So I thought I would settle for a 2015 edition since the previous models are completely customizable. After about an hour researching I found affordamacllc, and the picture of the 2014 MacBook Pro was very appealing. Trust me, you're getting beyond your money's worth. This is my first Mac and streaming 4K videos on this thing is lightning fast and extremely clear with the Retina display. I was going to drop $3K on a laptop I couldn't upgrade, which has the same exact specs, display but a little brighter, and instead I saved more than half with this purchase. These guys are legit everyone, I have never felt so satisfied with buying a used/refurbished product. Everything about the Mac I love, some little scratches on the bottom but nothing ridiculous. They also state there's normal wear on the notebook in their description, so you know what you're buying. If it wasn't for the scratches, it would literally be a brand new product. Best Deal on a MacBook
AFAIC this MacBook Pro is better than the new series. Apple seriously under powers their computers. I bought this for my daughter last year. It has i7 processors, 16gb RAM and a fast SSD. This is the only MacBook that approaches the performance my Mobile Precisions. My daughter skinned it with an amazing black & gold marble and totes it in an Italian brocade laptop bag. Great Computer but..
I got my laptop today and it has been great, everything runs smoothly (Adobe Apps). Looks good and sounds great. However, I went to go charge my laptop and the adapter for it is barely working, it's making noises and cuts out every once and awhile so I have to unplug it and plug it back in to make it work.
