GREAT sound !!
These "Rockys" are FAR superior to the factory speakers AND the Pioneer 6X9's I took out! For my installation, I had to solder on new lugs to fit these speakers correctly, but that was easy enough. WELL worth the excellent price that I paid for these great quality speakers. The only downside for me was that I couldn't use the grilles provided in the kit. I wanted to advertise the Rockford-Fosgate emblem! My car came with 6x9's from the factory, so I refit the original panels after the install..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

speakers are good quality for 40$. easeof install depends on skill level. standard mounting holes . have make new mounting locations in rear deck of vehicle , depending on oem speakers. don't forget to insulate speaker frame or they will vibrate.. sound quality average not great. have to eq them to get good sound and u have rebias from front to rear.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The speaker came in and it was well packaged. They came with speaker wires, but I went with a better gauge wire so I didn't use it. I installed the speakers in a 06 dodge ram 1500. Even though the fronts say 6x9 I had to make a bracket so it could set right. I had to do the same for the rear. Watch the polarity…
Great speakers…fit right in my 2017 Ram 1500. Be aware that the lead with the red wire on the speaker is the NEGATIVE terminal and the one with the black wire is the POSITIVE terminal. Interesting choice Rockford… unique. If you wire one pair of your vehicle’s speakers backwards (out of phase) they will still work fine…but the sound quality will be poor. The phase difference will cancel out bass and mid bass and correcting that phase difference made a world of difference in my truck.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
