  • EVERYONE NEED FANS

The Milwaukee 18V fan is a really helps you cool down. With 3 settings you can control the airflow very well. On the highest it can send air over 10 feet and still keep you cool. It's ruggedly made, the fan has locking positions to adjust the angle. This definitely is great for personal use and rugged enough for the jobsite. It's convenient that it also had a power cord for plugging into an outlet. It's one downside is that when plugged into an outlet the fan does not charge the battery...still it's a great product on low the XC battery will run 8 or more hours. It's definitely good to double up and have a few batteries to dedicate to the fan, then you're good on the go!

  • A very good product, a little bulky but powerful.

The questions asked for the review are not sufficient for accurate answers. Quietness is a value determined by the end users past experiences. If you leave it on full power, yes it is much louder and it is more difficult to have a conversation. But if turned down to medium or low it is easy to carry a conversation next to it. It is pretty well built so although it is plastic it seems as though it could take some spills and survive intact. it is quite versatile with a lot of tilt possible. There is enough weight in it with the battery installed that it doesn't move around. Almost no vibration. It does accept a 9.0ah battery but I have not tested the new 12.0ah battery yet. The only issue I have with mine is that the battery is so tight, I have to pry on the bottom of the battery while squeezing the release buttons at the same time to change batteries. I hope it loosens up with time and use. With a 9.0ah battery and the fan on full power it ran for about 6.5 hours. Turning down to setting 2 it went all day and into the next day before needing a fresh charge. I was using it to speed dry drywall mud and acoustic ceiling texture. I have another unit from a different manufacturer that is much lighter and collapses down flatter when not in use, but this one moves air much better. It is a bit bulky to store but well worth it in use. Thanks for another useful product Milwaukee, You are truly cultivating the pro market with pro grade tools.

  • awesome cool take everywhere fan

ive invested in milwaukee m18 tools, and they are by far the best cordless tools ive ever owned, and ive been through most of the other crap brands. this fan is amazing and i use it often , one 5ah battery lasts 17 hours. great for keeping cool anywhere, camping in a tent, in your car, by the pool or bbq, picnic table. good for circulation, or blowing sawdust or smoke out a window . at 79 bucks, i ended up buying two , maybe ill buy another one so we can all stay cool out in the sun at the beach. my 3 favorite must have milwaukee tools, the fan, wet/dry vac is great for cleaning kids mess in car/truck. leaf blower for blowing leaves and saw dust off tools. the power source is handy to have for fast cell phone charges too. all my milwaukee m18 brushless tools kick ass. def worth the money spent. hope this helps ,im a contractor= buy milwaukee, you wont be disapointed at all. thanks

  • light weight, sturdy and quiet

Please raise my four star to four and one half. I cannot give anything that man makes a five star rating that is only achieved by my Deity. Would I buy it again? I sure would it it keeps performing as it has the few times we used it. I shoot NRA F class long range rifle and I cannot have it directly across from the mussel because it causes a variance in where my billet strikes 600 yards down range. I keep it on low and about 20 feet behind me and it keeps me and my spotter cool in the 95 degree heat. I have being in the constriction business for over 50 years have had occasions to use many Milwaukee tools and they have performed well and were worth the money so I am expecting this little fan to do the same. Keep cool! Nick Berretta

  • Great fan terrible radio.

Its not to small but not so big that it wont fit on a work bench where you might be working. It puts out enough air to keep you cool even on lowest setting if you are close to it. This is not going to take the place of a big shop fan. Its great to have to take a small break for a couple minutes. i have used it on my work bench and had it blowing air under my truck while I changed the oil. I like it so far. I really like that I dont have to stretch out a cord. If you have two of the 5amp batteries you run this on low speed and it will not stop while you charge the other battery. I have lied all of the m18 tools so far except for the radio. the speakers started buzzing after about a year. the only place the radio has been is inside my air conditioned shop. Milwaukee will not cover the speakers and will not sell me any replacements. so I have wasted 161.29 for that junk radio. Dont buy the radio. The fan is great so far.

  • Good fan, somewhat noisy, good buy on sale

I have two of them now, I've had one for well over a year and the other is a recent purchase. Prices have gotten pretty high, I had to shop around quite a bit to get the best price. The review pertains to both of them.It is a bit on the noisy side and it is a challenge to get the battery changed sometimes until it gets broken in over time. It runs longer than advertised on a 5.0 AH battery. They are well made and sturdy, and they move air well. The older one survived about 8 hours of Hurricane Ian punishment (my lanai windows and doors blew out and the fan was among the items inside the lanai subjected to the wind, rain, and debris.

  • Nice air moving fan

While doing some work in my attic this summer, I had to take many breaks to cool down. I decided a fan would help to minimize my breaks. I noticed Milwaukee had this fan available and since I already have several Milwaukee 18v tools, I decided to give this fan a try. The fan is still somewhat new to me but it has worked very well so far. It moves a good deal of air for its size which is what I needed in the attic and I have also taken it with me in my golf cart. I can place it on the floor, tilt the head and enjoy a nice breeze from the seat.

  • My new favorite tool!

This fan is compact, lightweight, with plenty of power. It's worth the little extra effort to bring up to attics in hot weather to work on air handlers. An unexpected benefit that I've discovered is that it keeps mosquitos and gnats away when working on condenser units. Fully charged battery will keep this thing working for 4 hours or more.

  • Great fan

Very well built I own 2 of these one is over a year old with no issues that’s why I got purchased this one . It also runs on 110v ac. Unlike the DEWALT version of this fan so if your battery goes dead you can plug it in and stay cool
