Excellent product especially for older corks.
I purchased this product after having issues removing corks from older wines. In same cases they become brittle & conventional corkscrew can fail, breaking the cork apart. I tried similar product in the past, but was not impressed. Based on recommendations of some top wine producers I decided to buy the original Monopol puller. Cheap versions look similar, but in use there are miles apart. The quality of this product is top notch, very solid all metal construction. The prongs are thinner & much better then ones found on the cheap knock off. I opened several 10+ years old wines, some with corks quite soft & brittle following the enclosed instructions. It worked perfectly removing the corks intact. Monopol Ah-So Cork Puller does work very well indeed. Highly recommended.
