  • Great Little Mill

I have the Kitchen Aide Pro and was using the Kitchen Aide metal Grain mill. It did alright but did not grind near as fine as the Mockmill does. I grind my wheat on the finest setting and its fine for adding to my whole wheat recipes although it is not as fine as the King Arthur Brand whole wheat or other brands you will find in the stores, The freshness and taste are worth it!!! This Mockmill is a great value. I have an air compressor in the garage and I just pulled the mill apart (also very easy) and went out and with a couple shots of air cleaned it completely out.

  • If you a baker and have a KA mixer, you want this.

Exceptional quality and design with the ability to mill from cracked grain all the way to fine flour. Also an excellent spice mill, or make your own caster sugar on demand! I mill whole grains right into the pot for morning porridge. I mill flour for baking bread. I can grind my dry toasted chilis into fresh powder and then "clean" the burrs with good sea salt crystals to make chili salt. Mill some cinnamon bark or other spices and then "clean" the burrs with sugar and you have spiced sugar! And I can say, firsthand, the support and service you get from MockMill is unparalleled. I'm telling you, you need this. If you're serious about baking. Cheers.

  • Works good but not great.

Bought the Mockmill because I own a kitchen aid and it's less expensive than electric grinders. Works pretty well although Flour isn't as fine as I'd like it to be. The alternative was a much more costly apparatus and just not within my budget parameters. This does the job good enough.

  • Not great like the price implies.

Produces flour in a timely manner. However the flour is not as fine as should be for some purposes and ground flour cannot be put back through the mill for a second milling successfully.

  • Too Slow

Runs VERY slow and you cannot get rice ground fine enough to use as flour. I had to then put it in my Bullet and further grind it. Very disappointing.

  • You want a Mockmill if you bake bread.

I am so happy with my Mockmill. Works so much better than the Kitchenaid mill. My bread tastes even better now.
