Great monitor, good make, menu buttons confusing.
Iv'e had my Asus VE278H monitor for about 18 months now, and it's been great. It came in a well designed box with plenty of decent foam cushioning. Plug and play. No dead pixels on arrival. I would say it's very robust for a monitor, having survived falling to the floor, a two and a half foot drop with no damage!! Phew. I will say this though, the menu buttons are confusing. Not the menu it's self, but the buttons. I have it set up how i want it now, and haven't touched the menu in months. I dare say you could find a tutorial on YouTube if you really wanted to get into it. I use this monitor for general computing stuff, as well as movies and gaming. It's a good gaming monitor. I don't notice any latency at all. It's also great for watching movies, although if you're looking for black blacks, you'll need to step up to an OLED display. It also has several different viewing modes that you don't have to access the menu for. I researched a lot of different monitors before i finally chose this one, and i definitely chose wisely.
