    Bringing life to an old opener

    Like many of us we have that old garage door opener that possible was from The Brady Bunch. We have that one remote that is falling apart and if your not good at a circuit board and no matter how many ovokt batteries you try, it just died...that or you had to keep hitting it to work. Thanks to this remote and moving 3 switches on the remote, it works. It does use an L10 battery, so you will want to get extras of those. Buying another one.

    Cheap and cheap

    Sometimes the remote doesn't work and I have to flick it while pressing the button, one of the batteries was dead upon arrival and both batteries had to be replaced after less than a year despite the fact that they were rarely used. They were cheap though and I can carry the small one on my motorcycle inside my tank bag. If you plan to use these every single day I suggest spending a little more on a better unit, I only use mine once or twice a week though so I just deal with the aggravation of tapping or flicking it to make it work.

    Handy for biking

    Works just like the original one-button garage door opener, dare I say a little better, because the button never gets stuck. (The originals occasionally do, as the clearance with the housing is a bit tight.) I clip one of these to my backpack strap so I can operate it on a bicycle. It's pretty handy. (Someone needs to make these things in a form factor designed to mount to the rails under a bike seat!)

    New life to old garage

    This remote works on an old Liftmaster door opener. It is compact and easy to carry on key chain. Since it is on a key chain, I don't have to worry about leaving the opener in the car for criminals to see. The remote has a little less range than the OEM model but is acceptable.

    61LM Sears Garage Door Opener

    I bought a house with an old Sears garage door but there was no remote opener. After talking with the Sears service department I though I was out of luck.     easy to program, easy to use, low range

    It took less than two minutes to get this to work with my garage opener. Press the green button on the drive box, press the white button on this one and done. Works like a charm. Only downside compared to my other one: It seems to have a lower operating range so I have to pull up close when I want to open the garage.
