Do not buy this slinky machine
Looking at the machine as soon I took it out of its packaging, it’s very noticeably poor quality. Then I proceeded to use it for the first time and all plastic bits basically snapped and broke and plastic stand that it sits on broke as well. Apple slinky

Not the best quality but for the price it's right on
My sister has had one of these for years and with a 2 yer old of my own i thought it would be a great idea to have one too. No shops had them (all sold out for months apparently) so i jumped on eBay and grabbed what i thought looked like a similar one to my sisters. Turns out this one is a cheap Chinese copy and not solid quality you want in a kitchen appliance... but i only paid $11 with free shipping. So fast
We regular make 1.5kg batches of stewed apple for breakfast. This device reduces the time and strain by about a third. Sometimes the spring that pulls the cutter needs a little 'assistance' to start the cut if the shape of the fruit is less favourable. It takes a little practice to get the pressure and speed optimal.
