    Well-designed and very high quality

This is the finest trackball I've ever used - perfect for ergonomic use and particularly useful for me as I recover from carpal tunnel surgery. The 30% angle, the comfortable fit in my hand and the Logitech Options software for customization are the features that most appeal to me. It is a high-priced item so I've been careful to buy them when I had coupons available to redeem or, in one instance, the combination of a slightly lower price and the proceeds from the sale of the pointing device it was replacing made the expense more palatable. I have three of these trackballs - one on my home desktop, one with my laptop, and one at work. Note that the MX Ergo Plus is the one with the 30% angle, and it is typically sold exclusively at Best Buy. The standard MX Ergo has only a 20% tilt.

    I LIKE IT NOW

Too big for my hand!!! Useless to me : ( My wrist doesn't rest flat on the desk with my digits position properly on the ball and buttons. The ball movement is very smooth. Higher quality than the M570. I love the magnet base that allows for tilting the mouse. I engineered my M570 to have a similar effect years ago. Very cool Logitech did this, they're obviously listening to the consumers. I plan on trading 2 M570s for this. Unfortunate, because the build quality is far superior.

  • Logitech MX Ergo Mouse

Great mouse. Hard to become comfortable using it since I haven't used a roller ball before. There will be a learning curve if you're new to this design. I especially like the tilt of the device at 20°. However, it was a waste of money to buy the "plus" version of the mouse. The only difference is an angled piece of rubber which tilts the mouse to 30°. At this exaggerated angle, your hand is literally standing almost vertically on its' edge and it is very difficult to manipulate the buttons or wheel comfortably. I can't imagine anyone using the 30° tilt for more than a test. That aside, Logitech doesn't make bad devices. I have absolute trust in their products. The MX Ergo is no exception. All buttons on the mouse are programmable except the two switches behind the wheel. It those two switches were programmable, it would have substantially improved the functionality of the mouse. My old Dark Field mouse was much better functionally. That notwithstanding, the MX Ergo is still an outstanding device worth purchasing.

  • Good for a first time trackball user

This is my first time using a trackball. It was easy enough to get used to coming from a mouse. I like that it has a built in rechargeable battery. Unfortunately for Linux users like myself, the configuration software is not available for us. While you can definitely still use it, you'll miss out on some of the configuration options. It also allows you to adjust the angle, so you can find the most confortable setting for your hand/wrist. It is a bit expensive, but I don't regret purchasing it.

  • First Rate Trackball (the ergonomic tilt is a must have feature!. Highly Recommended.

The number one benefit of this trackball I would say is the tilt feature. It allows to exactly match the ergonomic design of your arm. You can also link this track ball to two devices. That's terrific as well. Everything else in terms of look and feel is first rate. I 've used trackballs for decades and this one is the best one yet. My only small complaint is the speed adjustment of the ball which could be a little more sensitive. This is minor but slightly annoying. It does come with a precision button that allows for precise mousing. Terrific product. Completely worth the money esp. if you work on the computer all day like I do.

  • My favorite mouse yet! Switches computers at the press of a button!

Super comfortable. Much better than their cheaper M570 model. Love being able to switch between computers with just the press of a button! I have my work laptop and my personal deskptop on the same desk, and I can seamlessly use the mouse on both of them. Fantastic feature that I didn't know existed.

  • Best trackball I have used over the years

This is the first trackball I have used that really works for me. The older designs from a decade (or more) ago didn't function well in the CAD environment I worked with every day. This one is different. The wrist angle is much more comfortable and the thumb ball is easy to propel across the screen. Two thumbs up from me!

  • NIce Tracking Device

First time with using a tracking ball. Taking some time to get sed to using it. Like the ability to tilt the unit to make it more comfortable to use. Would buy another one if needed.

  • A good trackball

MX Ergo Plus has a extra plastic base to be placed under mouse to give extra angle. That is the only difference to MX Ergo. In consideration of the price gap, I say to tale MX Ergo should be good enough. Upon charging and a cold start, I can hear a tiny minor high frequency sound from the mouse, no bother to me. For budget buyer, M570 is really the best thing you can get, its ultra long battery life and design really make it a almost perfect trackball...... For affordable buyer, just grab MX Ergo series, yu will be happy for the money you paid. Ste

  • Very comfortable and efficient

Very comfortable and works great. I have large hands and this is probabl the most comfortable trackball/mouse I've used. Also has an excellent set of features and settings.
