Excellent for sleep tracking and more
I bought this particular tracker because I wanted sleep tracking, and I am an at-home freelancer and figured that I could benefit from the hourly move reminders. First off, I love these features! But I have also fallen in love with the step tracking and heart rate monitor, and just started food logging and am now wondering why it took me so long. Looks great, good for small wrist and easy to use.
Product arrived in good working order (restored to great condition). Easy setup. The Alta is a bit "fussy" when it comes to accurately measuring steps. It also doesn't stay lit up long enough to read when it is awake. But all in all it is getting the job done and I love the ease of use. The perfect Fitbit for me!!
I did an extensive search on what Fitbit I wanted to get...I’m glad I checked all the reviews bc it led me to this one. The Fitbit itself is lightweight and small, so it’s not chunky and can be worn with every day clothing. I love that you can switch out the bands...and I’m going to get a large band bc the small one I have on the last three notches. I really wanted something to track my steps, heart rate and sleep...and something to remind me to get up and move from my desk job during the day. It’s been about a month now and I’m loving it. I love the information that syncs up to my phone and being able to track these pieces of my health has been super helpful to me. The battery life is great. I would say that I charge it about once a week or once every 4-5 days...and that’s just when the battery is low, not dead. It’s also super fun how encouraging this little wristband is...when you meet goals or hit 10000 steps in the day, fireworks go off. I have constant encouragement set all day to remind me to move. It’s also great that my calls and texts can come through (that’s optional)...it’s super helpful to see if I need to run over to my phone or not.

Love Fitbit Altra HR
I like being able to see how much I did in a day, and track my sleep at night. I don't use the HR fetcher, the green flashing light bugs me, but I love the ability of being able to change the wrist bands to different colors occasionally. I love the Fitbit Alta HR. So sorry that Fitbit discontinued it. It is lightweight, slim and easy to wear while sleeping. Great Motivation Tool
I've been putting off dieting for quite some time, but glad my nutritionists recommend me getting a Fitbit & linking it to Myfitnesspal app. It really is a motivator & has definitely helped me keep on track with my diet. The one thing I don't like about it is that it does get caught on clothing when getting dressed or putting on a coat. Makes me believe that will end up breaking my band eventually. 20 lbs lighter!
This is my second fitbit alta hr and it is sad that they are discontinuing this model. Some people like larger watches and straps, but this one is thin and lightweight-perfect for my wrist. I wear it daily and doing so and using the different functions, I have lost 20 lbs!! Love the HR capability
