The close-up lens is the most effective way to achieve a closer minimal focal distance. The magnification achieved depends on the focal range of lenses, it will be higher with longer focal lengths. The magnification will be close to 1:1 when you focus at 200mm.

Nisi close up lens now I won't have to leave it out of my bag.
When I owned macro lens they always seemed to be the first lenses to be cut when packing my camera bag to make space for other gear . This little 77mm lens gives great images is as always with Nisi filters fantastic quality has a little weight and comes in a cool case that easily fits into my bag. I don't usually take slot of macro photos and that's probably because I never had the space for a lens but I suspect that will change. I haven't had it for very long and I agree it's not cheap at $219 but in this case it's well worth the money after using it. Hoping it will get a work out with the current stay at home . Stay safe I hoped this helps if you are tossing up wether to send the money .
