AirGenius 5 Air Cleaner/Odor Reducer features QuietClean advanced filtration technology that captures 99.9 percent of contaminating particles. They include both the ones you can see and the microscopic ones as small as 0.3 microns that you can't see. Air cleaner circulates the air in a large room (up to 250 sq. ft.). Very pleased with Honeywell HFD320
I had already purchased one of these air cleaners just prior to purchasing the one online. The Honeywell HFD320 is quiet, easy to use and ready to go right out of the package. I have one upstairs in my hallway & one in my living room. Very pleased with both of them. The only complaint I have is the back lighting for the settings is a little bright at night (nightlife level), but in also prefer the darkness when I sleep. It isn't enough to keep me awake or lower the rating. I am happy with the air cleaner.

Excellent Performance
This is the third air purifier I've had with the IFD permanent filter. One is still working after ten years, and the one this replaced lasted about fifteen years (it was gifted to us by my MIL because her boyfriend didn't like the sound...). They've all been Honeywell products. I'm obviously happy with the performance and the technology. I'm also frugal and glad I don't have to buy new filters regularly. These are more expensive than the ones with replaceable HEPA filters, but you save money in the long run. Another issue with the replaceable filters are the availability. I had a small air purifier in my RV when it was parked for the winter or not being used, and it had been discontinued by the manufacturer. The filters became unavailable eventually and I had to find another small air cleaner for my trailer. These IFD air purifiers are excellent performers, long lasting and durable. I highly recommend them. The only minor issue I have are the top indicator lights. They're bright, unnecessary, and a distraction.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great machine, blue nightlight unwanted
It's quiet on sleep mode. Like another reviewer, the lumens from the array of bright blue LEDs on the control panel have a folded dark towel sitting on top of the machine to black it out at night. Once I read the manual on the "germs" setting—which says that that a slower fan speed enables viral particles to be more easily captured—I just leave it on the "sleep" setting, which is the slowest speed anyway. Like it very much
This appliance works well. On 1 and 2 it is very quiet, a bit noisy on the higher levels. We leave it in higher and oscillating at night or when we are out so that it is more effective. We have two dogs and hoped it would help, we now have one air purifier upstairs and one downstairs in our almost 1700 sq ft house. Lights probably would be annoying in a bedroom but ours are in the main open living area and hallway so not a problem.
