    Weak wifi

    Works fine if your outlet is close and i mean really close. I found it useless to put downstairs from my wifi. And yet i have Buzzi wifi cameras across the street that work well.

    Nice gadget

    I always wanted to be able to turn on/off the internet in my home remotely to control my kids' internet usage when I am at work. This switch fits the bill perfectly. I can plug my home router into it and when I want to turn off the internet remotely, I just open op WEMO app and turn the switch off. Cool.

    Wemo Switch works

    These seem to work well for me, once in a while they are slow to connect or find the router IP address, then just restart the app or phone / tablet, and they work again. I use Surge protection in the outlet to protect the wemo from storm damage, I have used these to turn on an electric heater an hour or so before I get up in the morning, or before getting home from work, and they hold up fine, but I wouldn't leave the heater on all day on these, or any heavy electrical load on these or any other timers. For other lighter use like table lamps etc. I leave things on as long as needed. They connect with my phone away from home fine too.

    WeMo smart switch experience

    Pairing/set up was time consuming, not easy with LG pad while iPhone SE setup was faster. It is pricier than other choices. Hope it's safe with 1500 watt space heater and it does not drop wi-fi connection, and does not require painstaking/frustrating pairing/resetting.

    Good smart outlet

    Granted, if you look up reviews for Wemo devices on the internet, there’s a lot of no-so-happy customers. Belkin’s physical devices are rock solid, great quality, and never fail; but their smartphone app is kind of flimsy and that’s what people are having the most problems with. If you use the devices without their app, they are great. I have three outlets and two in-wall hard wired switches in my house. If you want to use the devices with something like Alexa or want to be creative and use some kind of computer to control them, they will never stop working or burn out.

    Lamp On, Lamp Off

    This is my second they work like a charm. Can be tricky to setup best to turn mobile signal off first then connect to wifi. Once they are setup I have not had any issues. Great for lounge lamp in apartments that have no overhead lighting. I am sure there are other uses but I just.need them for lights.
