    Snap-On F-714 Palm ratchet

    These 3/8" palm rats use a 20 tooth compact gear with a one tooth per side engagement pawl, and provide a very low backdrag. They aren't designed for high torque applications, just on/off low torque jobs. It could be possible to upgrade them to 30 tooth, however the pawl/selector combination is a unique design and not supplied in the 30 tooth compact repair kit. But with some modifications by a machine shop it could be possible to make it work. But in my opinion, going to all that extra effort just to add 10 more teeth, you may as well just be satisfied with the way it is. They are easy to disassemble clean and reassemble. The quality of this palm ratchet is top notch as the rest of Snap-On's legendary tools are.👍
