Good way to handle multiple monitors
It's essential to be able to compare your mix on multiple monitors and the Presonus Monitor Station V2 allows this function at a reasonable cost. Sound-wise, it's a fairly transparent device. Build quality is better than the Behringer unit (I tried that one and sent it back). My only complaint is switching from one set of monitors to another requires a 'move' - you can't push Source buttons simultaneously so you have to sort of roll from one button to another to try and get an instantaneous switch between the two sets of speakers - very annoying. For the money, it definitely has the most features. I can't believe that handling at least two sets of monitors isn't a more standard feature on Pro audio equipment.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Should cost way more.
Clean signal. No coloring surprisingly great sounding D/A converters for that price. I highly recommend it. No sub crossover however. So instead of plugins the sub as the 3rd monitor, I have my KRK E8 hooked to the KRK 12 S sub and use the 2.1 set up in the monitor station as 1 monitor. My Dynaudio BM5 A is more other pair.
