Original finish is shiny clean, has light wear edges and ribs, light dirt inside and on trucks. Couplers and bin-dump worked but struggled when bench tested, as is, no operation warranty. No wood barrels included.

    Lionel - built to last when well maintained

    I know it's durable, as most Lionel products from that era were built to last, if well cared for. Yes, i would recommend it to any collector who likes prewar cars, especially when you know the seller is up front and honest. Other well-maintained cars from the same period are equally durable.
