Product Information
New Super Luigi U offers players an entirely new experience as they guide the oft-overlooked Luigi through familiar levels from New Super Mario Bros. U. With Mario missing, gamers must use Luigi's extreme jumping and sliding abilities to speed through more than 80 levels in under 100 seconds apiece. Once again, up to five players can get into the action at the same time, with the invincible thief Nabbit taking Mario's place, and gamers can share their top scores via the Miiverse feature. New Super Luigi U requires a copy of New Super Mario Bros. U.
Fun Super Mario game, but can be incredibly challenging!
Pros:
- Familiar Super Mario Bros. experience, including multiple characters, power ups, Yoshis, and other extras
- Feels a lot like Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World combined
- Focus on Luigi instead of Mario, introduces other characters
- Easy to pick-up and start, but takes some playing to master
- Local Co-op allows you to play with friends and family, starting from where your solo game left off
Cons:
- Some levels are incredibly frustrating and challenging (try not to throw your controller across the room)
- in Co-op, if one player rushes ahead, the other will likely die
- in Co-op, if one player is Nibbit, they can pretty much cheat through entire levels and make certain levels laughably easy
- in Co-op, the other players lose lives too quickly compared to the Luigi
Luigi has less time to complete boards that Mario has more time to complete. Its an exciting game to play with family or friends at the same time of giving players a challenge.
Its so perfect!!!! I love it!!My daughters and husband too
This Luigi ge is the best!!!! The 4 of us can play! And with the game pad someone else can help too!!! You can buy it without any doubt!! you'll enjoy it!!
If you like challenges, you will love this game. Only 100 on timer to finish levels, much harder to control Luigi, and crazy obstacles. Reminds me of Super Mario Bros The Lost Levels.
Didn't get a chance to test the disc out, but will say at least it looks in great shape. And this makes me happy to add it to my Wii U collection overall....
