A Great Fan
I first bought the smaller one. I was so impressed I bought the bigger one as well. A bit noisy at max. speed but at most times, medium is sufficiently effective. Low speed is quiet enough for bedroom use. Why pay three times the price for a fancy bladeless variety that blows only 1/4 the amount of air?

Excellent powerful fan
This is my 3rd Vornado. On low setting, it's quiet for sleeping. On high, very powerful and some wind noise comes with it. Motor itself is quiet. Creates a nice gentle breeze around the room.

Not a bad fan
Although it doesn’t pivot automatically, it’s not a bad choice. Don’t expect it to be super quiet and don’t expect a lot of room corner circulation. However it fulfils its purpose. I recommend it for medium rooms. Not pivoting may not be ideal for a sleeping/bedroom fan.

Great design & lightweight
I like the strong fan with this one - it really moves the air around. It is a quiet fan on a lower speed but a little noisier on high speed so I am able to adjust it to my needs.
