Great little device for the price.
I teach math's and I was looking for a data logger, mainly for temperature, so that I could give students 'real data' to construct graphs. The device is small and light-weight and is currently sitting in my kitchen for test purposes (eventually it will be moved outside). The instructions are not the best - it does not explain that the logging interval needs to be changed through your computer. Once the device is connected to your PC you can change the logging interval. I've got it set, currently, for 60 minutes. I'm running Windows 10 and the included software seems to be OK. I did download some data and my system 'hung' - had to go to the Task Manager and close the software. Saying this I was able to input data into Excel - I can now do what I wish with it. So, in conclusion - it seems OK at the moment. Perhaps the software writers may consider improving the program a little and the instructions could do with the inclusion of how to adjust the logging interval/s. These are the reasons I've given four stars. I'm pleased with the device - it will do what I want it to do and I would recommend it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent for Domestic Freezers
Have used data loggers as a back up to freezer failures for a few years now, bought two of these for my Freezers, easy to set up, extended the data logger time period to extend past 7 days, for piece of mind if there has been a power failure and back on, you an Che k if your freezer defrosted and froze again.. Which is useful for knowing if the contents are ruined or not....a flashing clock in the kitchen can't tell you that, easy to download information as data or graph etc... very nice bit of kit
i have not checked it for accuracy except for at room temperature against two other thermometers and they all read = 0.1 deg c, logging is easy and the downloaded software works a treat. I used it for checking my freezer stability by placing the logger in a small sealed container which, to avoid condensation problems i allowed it to come to room temperature before opening the container and download the data to my pc.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
