Condition:
This mount suites the RODE NT USB+ and the RODE NT USB. You can replace the RODE screw with an M5 x 12mm or 15mm long button head. HOWEVER the mounts keep breaking. This part goes between the mic and the threaded Aluminium "NUT".

Excellent quality for the price range.
RODE replaced a noice cancelling mic with exceptional results. Recording on Camtasia, GarageBand, Audition, Audacity etc on the Mac is clear with a distinctive studio feel. The included pop filter really works and it is one of the features on this mic. Control of monitoring capabilities are fantastic. No gap on direct headphone sound and mixed audio from the computer. The tripod stand could be a bit more stable, I replaced with a heavy base on desk stand The experience of using it recording, voice overs has been very pleasant. Superb! Stronger. Magical almost.
I ended up buying another microphone because the original one snapped. No amount of glue helped. Now I have these reinforced rings that are excellent and I can stop using wire to hold my mic up again. The strength is obvious as soon as you see you thread the bolt through 4 parts and not 3. Great sound and am very happy with my purchase.
Looked towards getting this product after I watched a Linus Tech Tips review. I did a sync recording of both the mic and my phone and the quality is vastly different (obviously). But I especially like how there's significantly less background noise and hum compared to my phone which makes levelling out the audio much easier to do. The audio from the mic is really smooth and clear and pleasant to listen to. Great quality mic that also looks flashy on my desk, and the pop filter is a great plus too. This is a quality microphone for a USB device. It’s very well constructed and you get a sense of the build quality immediately. Quite a big, heavy mic so I expect it to be durable. Excellence in an inexpensive package.
I have been involved with on-air radio since 2002 and have used Rode studio 'phones over those years. This unit, although less expensive, is no less a quality product. I use it for recording in conjunction with Audacity, a sound recording and editing program. Output is superb; clear, rich and without distortion.
