Very useful in rentals.
I use these in my rentals to alert me to clogged sanitary lines, sump pump failures and clogged drains on AC condensate pans. It is nearly a real time alert and turns a major problem into a very minor problem. The temperature alert is good for when tenants are out of town in both hot and cold weather so that you know if the heat or AC has stopped working. The humidity alert is just an added feature to me. Freeze alarm that emails is worthless
Bought this freeze alarm in hopes that it would detect low temperature readings in our carpet cleaning vans . ( freeze damage can cause thousands of dollars in repairs quickly) this freeze alarm only sends emails . The updates are every few hours . I’m not checking emails all night long. Sending txt messages or even a device you can put in your home or office that sounds an alarm or warning beep that your area that has the sensor in it is about to freeze . Installed eight of these, under sink, wash, basins, toilets and washer. Easy to set up, can asign individual names to them. Can review their status on my phone and have them send alerts for leaks and low temperatures to my phone. I can also have them send alerts to other person's, which is a good idea if I'm not at home. Easy to set up and works as advertised.
Great for monitoring my sump pump. Has a built in alarm horn and sends a text message to my phone if there is a problem. Has a sensor on the bottom and a remote sensor on a 5 foot cable.
