    Good headset with great options!

When the item arrived, I was a little perplexed on the quality of work it was going to do. Connecting the wireless receiver on the back of the computer, it was detected, drivers were loaded automatically. The device was recognized. I was going to use it but I had to charge it, it was an error on my end to expect the blinking yellow light to change into green after blinking. It became solid. There is a switch where you select which receiver method you are using, I didn't think it had Bluetooth which is a plus for me. I tested it with different software, it was great.

Better than nothing but keep shopping

I have had Logitech products for years and years and I've never been disappointed ....until now. You have to flip this tiny little switch to go from computer to telephone and its almost impossible to do while its on your head. I am hard of hearing..... they are decent but not that loud and the high end lacks badly. Minor stuff.... headphones won't stay on my head and if you are within a couple of feet of the usb dongle you get in a dead signal zone and it breaks up. Better than nothing but unless this is all you can afford I'd search a little longer.

  • Unique Ability to Connect to Devices in Two Different Ways... Easy to switch headset connection from phone to computer or computer to phone.

The unique feature of this headset is that it can connect to devices in two different ways. It has normal Bluetooth that can connect to your computer or your phone or other Bluetooth device. It also has a wireless USB dongle that can plug into your notebook or desktop computer. This makes it super easy to switch back and forth between the desktop computer and your mobile phone with the headset. For example you might be watching a movie on your computer using the headset ( via the wireless USB dongle )… Then you might receive a phone call on your mobile phone and want to use your headset for the conversation.… There is a switch on the headset that will switch from wireless dongle mode over to Bluetooth… Just flip that switch and the headset is now connected to the phone and ready for conversation. The only other headset that does this that I know of is one by Plantronics; I had it too and it was uncomfortable. This is my second pair of H800's... I have the first pair for almost 6 years… I eventually lost the little tiny dongle ( which I found out I could have repurchase on eBay for eleven dollars )… The headphones themselves were still working when I lost them somewhere. That's why I reordered. They're very comfortable and you can also purchase the replacement earphone cups on eBay as well. One other wireless option that I was looking into was the EarStudio ES100... It supports high quality audio and is a Bluetooth adapter. This device does not have the fast device switching ability like the Logitech.

  • Former premium headset remains a reliable workhorse

Bought a second pair of these even though it's a 7 year old product. The very fact that the first pair survives and works perfectly after so many years is proof that this is a well designed and well built headset. Not intended for audiophile music listening, it still provides better audio than recent mid-range bluetooth earphones I've used, especially taking into account that it's on ear and not over the ear. When used as a communications headset performance is impeccable and conversation is crystal clear. Never had complaints about the mic from the other end of the call, except when I forgot the mic in the above-the-ear position far from the mouth. Bluetooth performance is also very reliable, range is typical for bluetooth links. Never had compatibility issues with anything. One thing that could improve is clearer indication of status, connection, battery and charging state, which are all provided by two LEDs. Voice indication would be useful. Also this can only connect to a single bluetooth device while there are many accessories today that can handle multiple. Bottom line when looking for something that just works without any bells and whistles, this is my go to headset.

  • Spendid headset at a really decent price!

Lightweight with nice sound. Primarily bought these for use with Rosetta Stone, and value for dollar spent makes these a real bargain. Will carry these in a computer bag now and then, but time will only tell if they're reasonably durable when taken on travels. Only shortcoming is the inadequate instructions that came with them. Could not determine some of the settings with my older, bifocal-dependent eyes. It was NOT easy to find, but located the "Getting Started Guide for Logitech Wireless Headset H800" on Logitech's support website, which was perfect (because, unlike my headset, I can zoom it out to see details). Logitech ... and ALL other manufacturers ... why don't you print a directly link to manuals on the product packaging, not in small type but easily spotted when you open the package? So, having at last located the manual, am very happy with this headset and gladly recommend it to others. ¡Buenas dias a todos!

  • Great Headphones

This H800 headset is great and an excellent value. Sound quality? Well, I'm picking up sounds in music that I didn't with my previous phones, so yes great sound quality. The left earpiece has a storage compartment for the included dongle for travel, so no losing it, cool feature! The volume switch is easy to find and use while wearing. Includes a usb charging cable. If this unit got lost or stolen I would buy the same again.

  • Confortable, long last bettery, Great for Skype!

I purchased this to replace a tiring Logitech H600 headset that Lasted almost 7 years with daily use when the betterries charge began to only last a few hours. So I have this awesome Logitech H 800 for almost 2 months and I use it every day at work and the batteries last the full 10 hour day. I have it on all the time so when a call comes in I do not have to stop designing. I highly recommend the H600 to anyone you wants a well priced comfortable head set with good clarity.

  • A very nice headset that won't break the bank.

I'm on a headset in my job and wanted to get away from the cord. This pairs well to my work PC using the RF device. They are light and comfortable and sound good too. It's nice to be able to get up and walk around. For work, my only complaint is that I can not answer the work phone from the headset. Maybe if using Bluetooth. A longer battery life OR a longer charging cord would be useful. Outside of work, they pair well to my cell phone using Bluetooth. Others have complained about the perceived quality of the set. I don't see that as an issue. Recommended!

  • Comfortable with a lot of features.

I think it's a great value. Not everyone's voice comes across clear. Maybe one in 15. Other than that I love the fact it has USB for other phone work I do.

  • Not the best Mic

So far so good. Only negative is that the mic volume in windows 10 using Skype is not as loud as I would like even though I have it on max and using the boost feature
