Great Machine.
For anyone who uses firewood in their lives . This machine is a great investment. Easy to use and can be moved around with ease. I've only just purchased mine on the recommendation of a friend and yes it does what they say it will do. Be interesting to see how long it will go before I wear it out.Will split hard old ironbark blocks 400 long and about the same round No Dramas. Great product. Splits even the tough woods effectively.
This electric log splitter was recommended by two friends who have been using the product for 2 years, and love it. I have put it through its paces for one solid session already and it performed well. It split hardwood that I had previously tried to split with a hand splitter with absolutely no success. It struggles a bit with heavily knotted hardwood but gets through it all the same. Got through a large pile of logs in no time at all. Assembly using the manual was easy but I found I had to loosen off the wedge in order to get the hydraulic ram to slide into place. The splitter is heavy and solid as you would expect but can still be pulled around by hand. Really good value compared with other splitters on the market. All the fitting came together nicely and it seems the supplied materials and fittings are of high quality. One of the wire in the power box was exposed midway and I have managed to take it out and heat shrink the defect to insulate it. It splits software easily but I have a piece of large red gum wood and the 20T splitter was struggling. After a few attempts and aiming at the radial wood grain, the wood had finally gave in and virtually exploded apart :).Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Had this splitter for a few weeks now and each time i use it im more and more impressed. Split only around 2 cubic meters with it and had no issues at all. With a block that would take me a good 20 swings with an axe to get apart im done in just over a minute. All aussie hard wood knots and all. Build was easy and as long as you start from the outsides will destroy just about anything. Super quiet too, i went with electric as i live in the suburbs and so quies you can easily have a conversation while working. Some of the best money i have ever spent. Get one!

A Strong Electric Beauty of a Splitter
This is a fantastic machine, arrived in a sturdy wooden crate and went together like a dream. I have tried it on both green and aged Australian Gum, and it has no trouble splitting up either. Being Electric is a huge benefit over petrol as there is no need to worry about fuel and venting exhaust fumes ( running costs are so cheap ) and I can use it indoors which is nice on the cold wet days. No user manual. Beware!
I received this wood splitter and had to assemble it from its parts. The problem is it came with only 1 piece of paper telling me to download it. To assemble it you would expect to have a manual with the instructions included. This seems a cheap move. How hard is it to include a manual.
