easy to use
I replaced my original remote for my vizio smart tv. Generic Replacement for Vizio remote
From a distance it looks the same as the original Vizio remote with the exact same button arrangement. I checked the brand on this product listing before purchase and was impressed to find a listing that was the actual Vizio remote; this is not it. Up close the plastic has a different feel/finish, the buttons have a different font than the original and my OK button is upside down. It is a fully functional 1-to-1 replace of the original remote but it is not a Vizio remote; it is a generic one made with the same molds Vizio used. In my second photo you can see the slight differences between the Vizio remote on the left and this product on the right.

Makes things easy. And simple
Item is exactly what I needed ,runs on two triple AAA batteries, I just needed it to switch inputs on the tv, and it is very simple to use, power is on one side at top, and "input" is at the other. It works, but that's about it!
It's not a genuine Vizio remote, but it works. The vizio logo on the center button was bent and fell off before I even used it. The original Vizio remote was one of the worst remotes I have ever had; really cheaply made with a piano black finish that was so hard to keep clean that I had to keep it in a plastic bag. Perfectly adequate for the price
Remote has all of the basic functions of the original minus the elaborate keyboard on the back (which I never used once in 9 years). The finish is ok - the edge of the plastic cover could use some polishing - a bit sharp to the touch. works but flimsy, battery contact design could have been better
We have 4 tv monitors in the sanctuary. One control was lost and one other quit working because of battery corrosion. I ordered 2 replacements. One was assembled incorrectly with a main button upside down and even when reassembled still didn't work because the positive terminal of one AAA cell wasn't making contact because of sloppy manufacturing. It took me about 15 minutes of trial and error to reassemble correctly and get the contacts to touch. For $6 each replacement I'm happy, but you can't use an expensive large flat screen monitor if you don't have a working remote control. At least the shell pops apart with tools if you need to get inside.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
