Do your research first... but this can be mind-blowing.
Do your research first. This can only be used in PCIe x16 slots bifurcated to 4x4x4x4. So your Motherboard must have two x16 slots; one for your GPU and one for this storage option. Also check your BIOS allows you to set the bifurcation needed on one of those x16 slots. Lastly the card is extraordinarily long. Double check your case can hold this. With all that said, when deployed with four NVMe drives, the IOPS is mind blowing. I use it for a caching and cube storage on a GIS application. It is hardware RAID for some of the fastest Storage available to the common SysAdmin. Pair it with a fast GPU and you have a screaming-fast transoding Plex server. Ultra fast SSD drive
