Remarkable cleaner with wall/tile scrubber features
The Maytronics Robot Triton PS is an amazing wall climber and actually climbs steps fairly well. It doesn't turn over which is remarkable as it climbs and scrubs the wall and tile line. I am pleased so far on most features of the Triton. I thought this cleaner had a night strobe for locating on the bottom of the pool after dark, but it doesn't seem to include one (unlike other similar unit brands). The control unit cord has an anti tangle feature and it performs better than units with out the line floaters. The control box is very easy to operate. The owner instruction book is rather sparse on information. The one feature lacking is a longer than one week program....a drawback to operating the unit without some one being able to reset the program.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Mr Triton is the perfect pool boy!!
I bought Mr Triton to replace my Dolphin DX3 which lasted 6 years. It was cleaning good yet, but the plastic where the clips hold, cracked, and the collection basket would fall out when you pulled it out of the pool, losing a bunch of the dirt! So I thought after 6 years it was time to make the investment for a new robot cleaner. I decided to go with the Triton Ps. After just a few days , I am really happy with Mr Triton. He gets the walls and water line really well, better than the DX3 ever did. Grandkids had poured some sand in the pool and DX3 couldn't get it all picked up. However Mr Triton cleaned it all up with the first cleaning! I love that I can just leave it in the pool and Mr Triton automatically cleans it every day. I have sparkling clean water! I love the collection basket on the top and no dirt falls into the pool when pulling Mr Triton out of the pool. Mr Triton even gets on my steps, although the steps are curved, so he doesn't quite get them all. I hate to just dump DX3, so I will be donating him to my son who just got an Intex above ground pool. I'm sure they will get some more use from DX3 yet, especially since the filtration system's aren't that great in those pools.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Stop reseaerching and get the Triton
I have owned this robot for a year now. It replaced a much more expensive Dolfin unit. Its all about the baskit, My other robot cleaned the pool as well but was way more difficult to clean the bag. This one cleanes as well but is so much easier to clean the baskit. I have used some other leasser brands on other customer pools but for my own pool I insist on Doflin and this one is a nice compermise between options and price. Being able to blue tooth your robot might seem important but you acualy only want to drop in in to pool once a week and forget it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not as advertised
I bought the more expensive Dolphin with the large leaf bag because I have trees in my back yard. This unit will not pick up even the smallest leaves. The units I have had in the past that ran off of a secondary pressure pump were much cheaper and picked up all of the leaves and debris in my pool. I feel like I wasted $1000 to be honest. Worth every cent
I was apprehensive about spending almost $1,000 on a pool cleaner, but once hooked up, I'm satisfied. Works great without issue. Just plug in and let it work. Simple set up.
