  • Not exactly about zombies

For those of you expecting more zombie action, you’ll be disappointed: they come to life during a death metal performance and they’re supposed to be idol girls moving forward…with no zombie characteristics whatsoever. Tae Yamada may act like a zombie but she seems more of a feral girl than that to me. Weren’t these girls reanimated and zombified by the producer? And why is the producer a maniac and subverting the zombie archetype without revealing how he created seven zombies? Why haven’t the zombies eaten anybody? We all know zombies crave flesh, right? What happened to all of that? If all the idol girl shenanigans, drama, and performances entertain you, then maybe this will since it focuses on that. As if that wasn’t enough, the youngest member isn’t even a real girl. It may be fine with you, but not with me. I am saying all of this to stand up for what I believe. Oh, and apparently they had a rap battle between two girls that propelled the show further into popularity anyway…or did it? Make anything of this what you will.
