  • Great Computer!!

I am not much into playing games so I can’t comment on that aspect of the ad or the performance. I am however very much into design, photo editing and messing around with music and animation. I won’t speculate as to how good I am at it or how hard a/the computer needs to work in order to keep up or manage the things I produce. I will say that as I have been getting better at the things I am doing or the smoother the transitions or the harder it is to easily see errors in timing, synchronizing and matching the actions and reactions of my characters, whether animated or real, which in turn makes my work look better and more importantly means it gets better feedback and more laugh’s and less negativity. If an affordable equipment upgrade allowed for that then I will gladly take it. I should apologize for the amount of time it has taken me to get on my computer and leave this feedback. For that I appreciate the patience and understanding that was extended to me by receiving no emails or harassment of any kind during all this time. I did have some issues with the computer failing to go through the start up process correctly a few weeks after I received it and I am still unclear if it was the computer that failed or if it was something I did or something to do with software I installed. It took some some time to work through that by going into the command prompt but I got it up and running without losing anything. All in all it has been reliable, the previously mentioned incident aside, it has been a work horse for what I use it for and it seems to handle multitasking easily. For me that means more than just having several tabs open while online. I generally have music playing while editing photos, videos or music. Sometimes I may even have a tab or two open online if I need to need to look up some information that I need for my current project. Due to a disability I also use speech software for the majority of my typing (Dragon) it will handle all that and still remain somewhat cool. It would be nice to have more control over the fans. I have just installed a third party app for just that reason. I will try to upload some pictures if I remember to have my PCA take some. The fans will turn on and speed up on their own when the computer is working hard while rendering either photos or videos. I hope this helps someone.
