    Knuckle coupler for Bachmann Acela

    The Bachmann 78035 HO E-Z Mate coupler is more convenient than the existing Draw-bar, but it leaves more of a gap between cars, and an even larger gap between locomotive and coach. I am not sure the reason for the off-set near the knuckle, because the magnetic rod is high off the track and could not be used for un-coupling, not that I would want to use it for that purpose. The train consist is not usually switched.
