Why would you not buy them
Great product which works out so much more convenient and cheaper than alkaline batteries..Simply put ..Why would you not buy them. Take about 10hrs to charge but last in my Digital Camera longer than most alkaline batteries and they are far better for the environment as you can recharge them time after time instead of one use and throw away.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

be wary of buying these for use with travel shavers
This product isn't compatible with a very well known type of travel shaver that requires AA cells. (a travel shaver made by a highly respected Dutch company and probably the most highly regarded travel shaver in the world). If you need rechargeable AA batteries for constant use and re-use, these are very good choice. Hold the charge for reasonably long time, depending on what one uses them for. A tale of four batteries
Once upon a time a man needed some batteries, so he sent some money and they came, all nice and shiny in a special little package, the batteries were not too big, not too small but just right. The man was excited and to be sure that the batteries were happy he put them in a special machine that said it could make them feel really good, a little light shone red. After some hours the light turned green and the batteries were really happy. "what shall we do now?" they all asked each other because they all felt powerful and energetic. "Lets go and lie down in that little green box with the glass button on the front, you know... the one that takes pictures of animals in the dark" one suggested. So they did and lots of photos of badgers, foxes, pine-martens and a neighbour's cat got taken. "This is fun" they said "but after 5 days I'm starting to feel tired... lets go back to the special box with the red light and see if it will make us feel strong again", so they did, and soon emerged feeling really good. The man was happy, the batteries were happy, the green box with the glass button was happy and the man said "I'm so pleased with you all, the batteries, the special machine with the red light and the green box with the glass button, I hope we can all live happily together for years and years". "We do too" they all said. "Me especially" the man said under his breath, "since I'm aged 70 now and intend to milk my pension scheme until it cries for mercy". DURACELL Rechargeable "Stay charged" are definitely the best.
I have been using DURACELL Rechargeable (Stay charge) batteries for many many years now. I would never buy any other brand. Even the first Duracells i bought, 8+ years ago, are still in use. The "Stay Charged" feature is great, as my charged batteries stay charged 4-6 months and are ready to use.
