Pleasantly Surprised
I didn't have very high hopes for this little speaker but I have to say the little thing surprised me. It has good enough sound for what I want it for and it's easy to operate. It is compact as well and doesn't take up much room when not in use. The one negative I found about it which is not really a fault of the speaker is that it doesn't like some AAA batteries. I have found over the years that not all batteries are created equally and some are slightly smaller in length and probably circumference as well and therefore do not get good continuity with the device's contacts. I bought two of these speakers and the first one I got was persnickety about the first set of batteries I put in it and the speaker wouldn't power up. I was afraid I'd gotten a DOA speaker but I swapped out the batteries with some name brand ones and the speaker powered up like a champ. Aside from that issue, I'm am most pleasantly pleased with the speaker(s).Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nice product for a low price
These folding speakers are very compact and will be easy to travel with. For such a low price, it was a good value. As one should expect, they cannot handle a powerful bass or support loud volume, so these are not a substitute for a stereo system. Good Value Awesome Portable Speakers :-)
The folding speakers enrich life with my laptop because most built-in speakers have to be so thin that the bass isn't evident. They solve that shortcoming nicely and fold into a convenient size that fits easily into a laptop bag. They also fill a niche created by the iPod touch since Apple created the App Store. When I downloaded multiple games for my first-generation iPod touch (no internal speakers), it didn't have portable speakers to get full enjoyment out of my games without using earphones all the time. These are nice little speakers. They are great for phones, and small gaming systems. You won't have BIG sound, but you will have good sound. These speakers are built well. I like the fold out design.
