I’ve never used any other stethoscopes before, however it clear this one is made of good quality materials. I’ve had no problems since purchasing this over a year ago. The rubber/plastics are not deteriorating in any way. The metal used is quite strong and durable. The end diaphragm is well made and durable. I can’t comment on its sound qualities in comparison to similar styles, though it does pick up sound.
