Music on the Sony MDR-ZX770BN Bluetooth Wireless Headphones is crisp and clear. The over-ear design is comfortable to wear and has a very modern and sleek look. The top of the band is black and gray with a touch of glossy silver. The Sony noise canceling headset has an adjustable black stainless steel headband and pressure-relieving, oval-shaped faux leather cushions. These wrap around the ear to form an acoustic seal. This headband is designed to accommodate different-sized heads and is very durable. The cups can twist 90 degrees for storage. The Sony logo is displayed on the outside of each ear cup. The Sony MDR weighs approximately 7.41 ounces, including the rechargeable battery. The set measures 8.7 inches by 2.9 inches by 10.3 inches. The Bluetooth MDR-ZX770BN headset has a DC 3.6 V built-in Lithium Ion rechargeable battery. The LED red/blue indicator light keeps the user informed on the battery levels. The headphones can run up to 17 hours of playtime or 450 hours of standby time on a 2.5-hour charge. Near Field Communication, or NFC, one-touch wireless technology is used when pairing the MDR headphones with Android devices and smartphones. Wonderful headphones, work nicely
Just to preface, I'm not audiophile or anything, so I try to look at it from a more average consumer point of view. First, the sound. These headphones sound very nice, no complaints here. The bluetooth range is excellent. I can leave the source rooms away and these will still have continious sound. There is virtually no sound difference between wired and wireless, and that is a good thing. Second, the ANC feature. These headphones have noise cancelation, that while maybe not the best, it's usable. I haven't been able to try it on a car or plane yet, so your mileage may vary. My specific pair came very nicely packaged, with no problems. Some of the plastic coverings that it comes with new were still on there. I saw little to no cosmetic imperfections, and it came with some nice accessories. The only problems here are the charging cable is short, and the audio cable is slightly short. However, these can both be replaced. These have nice cosmetics, and are very comfortable to wear. I could wear these headphones for hours. A few minor gripes, like how it sometimes feels the right side is better sound isolating then the left. If you want a comparison, the Bose QC 25 is what most people set the standard for. These don't block sound as well, aren't as comfortable, but beyond that, they're MUCH cheaper. You'd be hard pressed to find headphones like this at this pricepoint. All in all, a great deal. Stopped working after one recharge
